Shutdown / Restart Delay

Hi There,

I have an Issue with windows server 2012. I'm running it on a Supermicro server with 2x Intel Zeon Processor and 64GB memroy.

Every now and then when we want to shutdown or restart it it just hangs the the screen saying "please wait on system event notification service"

Then Eventually you have to hotboot it as it will not go past this screen.

Any Idees.
